Where Would We Be With Out The Truck Driver.
[ad#ad-1]
Most people do not realize how important a truck driver is and what they do for this nation. Most people do not know how hard being a truck driver really is. All they see are the big rigs on the freeways, road ways, and state highways. It is considered that the truck driver’s job is the most important jobs in the world. They are considered the backbone of this nation.
Most do not know they spend a countless amount of hours on the road, and are away from their families for a week to three weeks sometimes more. They give up their personal lives in order to provide a very vital service to our nation and nations across the continent and abroad.
With out the truck driver, we would have nothing. No food for our bellies, clothing for our bodies, lumber to build our homes, tires for our cars and pickup trucks, shoes for our feet, gasoline for our cars, milk for our children, diapers for our babies, and the extensive list goes on.
There are many shipments crisscrossing the United States of America each and every day. Freight is going everywhere at all hours of the day or night. It’s a never ending job for those who choose this profession of being a truck driver.
The general public doesn’t care if a trucker is tired or sleepy and have been running all night to make their deliveries on time while they sleep. All people think about is getting to their destinations and being in a hurry to do so. They disrespect a vital industry which brings them the items that we use every day. Why is this I ask? This would be like a dog disrespecting its owner who feed it and gives it water to survive.
With out the truck drivers who are on the road for an amazing amount of hours, who does not have time to take a shower every day and who is responsible for keeping those big wheels rolling all the time to benefit the nations economy. The general populations wouldn’t have jobs, the manufactures wouldn’t exist and we wouldn’t have anything in order to survive.
The truck driver is an important asset to our livelihoods, and our well being. They give us jobs, they bring us the items we need and use each and every day. Try living with out a roof over your head, or food in your bellies, or fine cars and such. How would you get to work or go on vacations with out a car? How would you be able to pay for your food at the grocery stores with out a job? Would you be able to survive with out your computer or laptop or any of the modern technologies that come out each and every day such as cell phones, tv sets, sterios, ipods, digital cameras telephones, stoves, refrigerators etc?
These are some of the things the truck driver has shipped in his truck. How about not having food in your bellies, would you like the feeling of hunger all of the time.
Truck drivers make our lives a little more tolerable, they work very hard at what they do and no one appreciates them at all. They make our lives easier to live by bringing us the freight we need to survive.
So the next time you come across a truck driver whether it be a company driver or owner operator, show a little courtesy and kindness, tip your hat, shake their hand, say hello for they will not bite you, wave at them or give them a nice gesture of thanks.
This will show the truck drivers of our nation and other nations that you do respect and appreciate all of the hard work that they put in day and night for weeks on end and for the service that they provide you.
Remember this saying that is said in this industry. “With out Trucks America Stop.” This is a very true saying.
